Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Photo Housekeeper is designed with privacy in mind. Your photographs remain under your control.

Your Photos

Photo Housekeeper requires permission to access your Apple Photos library so that it can identify RAW photographs, create JPEG copies, identify visually similar photographs, and create review albums.

Photo Housekeeper performs photo analysis on your Mac. Photo contents are not uploaded by Photo Housekeeper to our servers or to the licensing service.

Photo Housekeeper never automatically deletes photographs.

Licensing and Purchases

Purchases and software licensing are handled by our payment and licensing provider. When you purchase or activate Photo Housekeeper, information such as your email address, license key, purchase information, and activation information may be processed by that provider for payment, licensing, fraud prevention, tax, and customer-support purposes.

Photo Housekeeper does not store your credit-card information.

Information We Collect

Photo Housekeeper does not operate an advertising network and does not sell personal information.

We do not collect or sell the contents of your Photos library.

If you contact us for support, we may retain the information you voluntarily provide so that we can respond to your request.

Apple Photos and iCloud

Photo Housekeeper works through Apple’s supported Photos framework. If photographs are stored in iCloud Photos, Apple Photos may download a photograph when necessary for processing. That transfer is handled by Apple, not by Photo Housekeeper.

Security

License information stored by Photo Housekeeper on your Mac is protected using macOS security facilities including Keychain where appropriate.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Photo Housekeeper evolves. The current version will always be published on this website.
